Helen Mae Cripps
Helen was the eldest child of Ernest and Anna Cripps. The family lived in West Webster on what was then called Cripps Road (now Baker Road). Aside from Helen, there were brothers, Howard, Leroy, Elmer, Donald, Ernest Jr. and Harry and sisters Ethel, Ruth and Mary.
After graduating from Webster High School in 1920, Helen married George Northrup of Penfield around 1922 and had a daughter named Georgina (Hamel).
Helen was blessed with her mother's good genes and was with us until April 18th, 2001, when she died at the age of 98.
Many members of the Cripps family are buried at West Webster Cemetery. Helen however, is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Penfield.
If you can add anything (stories, photos, hobbies) to Helen's bio, please email us with the details.
